The beauty of a Tibetan rug is that everything is processed by hand, which means the initial gathering of the raw material onwards to the actual weaving of a rug is all done by hand.

Our raw material to begin with is the wool, which is imported from Tibet and they consists naturally of strong good fiber, good luster and a high resilient value. Wool is gathered from the sheeps that graze in the high Himalayan mountains and so they tend to be very durable and naturally rich in lanolin which is excellent for a rug’s longevity. The wools are trekked from Tibet to our facilities to follow up with the next process called carding.
